Auto download to Xbox One after buying from Xbox.com

Hi all,

Since the August update I have bought 2 games from Xbox.com and neither have automatically download to my Xbox One. When i got home I found them both in the items that could be downloaded list but needed to be manually started.

My understanding from the August update was that if the Xbox was in instant mode with the download box ticked they would start downloading soon after a purchase was made through Xbox.com. Am i missing something?

can't install Sam & Max Save the World

Download the game from Xbox.com it should show up in the ready to install section after clicking the download from Xbox.com.

 

check in ur settings for automaticly download

I think under the power setting there is a box for automatically download games and updates. This is ticked and the power setting is instant on. Is there anything else?

 

I have this same issue.... I buy something from xbox.com.... get home ready to play and nope, have to click it to start "install" the install takes so long (hours and hours) that it's obviously downloading...

My xbox is always on and I am always signed into it.... Is there something I'm doing wrong? If this is normal behavior and by design it has got to be addressed. It's currently an awful experience.
