Auto dimming while watching Twitch Stream

Same problem on twitch not sure if it's twitches end or Xbox it did start happening after the new update anyway I also have a Samsung smart lcd odd that someone mentions that I don't but it's terribly annoying fix it whoever

Same problem. No settings to adjust, leaving controller plugged into the USB doesn't keep it from auto dimming, and this issue began when the update rolled out. PLEASE FIX!!!!

 

So glad to see I'm not the only one this is happening to, reporting to twitch is pointless as its an xbox issue, as it happens when doing stream to xbox from a laptop (and other people have said lovefilm/netfilx/youtube).

This seriously needs to be fixed.

Same issue here, very frustrating when trying to watch a film via any app, any sign of a fix Microsoft???

 

Just did a reset, hold Xbox button on console for 15 seconds and seems to have cured the issue when I used the plex app to test.

 

same for me when i stream video from computer every 10 mins it dims, there used to be an option to turn off the auto dim from the settings, weird they would take that away.

 

Bumped. Happening to me on Twitch as well. It is EXTREMELY annoying.

 

Been having this problem also so far the best I've figured out is that if you turn off the controller manually it tends to stop the issue from happening. Atleast until some ads play this app is super glitchy with ad interaction after every update

 

I'm having the same issue on the VUDU app.

 

Stating that the same thing is happening you. Helps out none at all not 1 single answer here is helpful. Did you just feel your should chime in to chime in. I'm confused does anybody have a useful answer.

 

Is everyone still having this problem too? I'm surprised that it hasn't been fixed yet.

 

Yep, I'm still getting the dimming.

 

I'm looking for a solution to this as well. This has been just a recent issue for me as well.
