The store that sold it should also give u it for up to 1 year,but sure how Canada laws work the store should be able to say

An authorized retailer purchases their stock directly from Microsoft and their distributors.

It is not some guy on Ebay

To be safe, stick to traditional retailers like Amazon, target, or Best Buy

Anyone that provides you a.receipt I don't think you are understanding what an authorized reseller is

Gamestop is an authorized reseller but its not what you think it is

When they resell it doesn't reset the warranty

Once it scanned the warranty starts at the original point of sale not yours

Even game stop only sells from the remainder of the original warranty or the 90days from purchase whichever is longer for USED consoles

It just meansretailers in Canada can sell used or refurbished consoles it doesn't reset the original warranty

If I were you buy the all access cause it's worth it for.the 2 years of gamepass and you spread the cost of the console and gamepass over 2 years..I bought NY series x and nvme card at launch (2 weeks later for the nvme card from ms store)

different countries have different rules, in the UK new tech has a 1 year warranty from date of purchase. then you can also purchase extended warranty for new products.

If used but bought from a shop/retail unit then the minimum warranty is 3 months but alot of stores in the UK will bump it up to 1 year (this kind of warranty is not a manufacturers warranty but the store itself).
