    There is a limit on how many Microsoft Points you can purchase in a single day. I think the limit is 6000 points.

    Are you trying to purchase more points or something else?

    I tried to purchase a game, for real money and not points. I've let it go more than a couple of days, and still neither of my credit cards will work.

    Thought I had to wait 24-48hours, but that didn't work either

    Try checking billing.microsoft.com to see if you have any delinquent payments that need to first be squared away. It's possible and the only thing I can "help" you with at this point!
