I do understand the urgency of you wanting to find other ways for this issue of yours in regards with connecting to multiplayer servers. We are very glad to help you out to find some of the best possible options and troubleshooting's that we can provide for you.

We just want to set your proper expectations on this that if this tends to happen on the Minecraft servers itself if they have some server maintenances and other things that concludes on this issue, then it is within their server. But for this, we will try our best to find the best possible options for this concern of yours.

To get started, I'd like to ask a few questions to better understand the problem that you're facing:

• Are you connecting to the Minecraft servers for multiplayer or possibly your friend's server? For us to conclude on where you want to connect into.
  
• May we know on what platform you are playing Minecraft on, is it on the Xbox Console or PC?
  
• Since we have seen that the category that you have placed this concern into is on "Mobile". We want to confirm if you are playing Minecraft via Mobile.
  

We are asking this question for now for us to be firm and to be able to know on what platform you are accessing on playing Minecraft Multiplayer.

And just a heads up, since you have just migrated your account on Minecraft. There are some steps as well on how to enable the Multiplayer options through the Xbox Privacy Settings as well. Here are some steps and helpful articles that might be helpful. Just follow these steps on how to ALLOW to join Multiplayer as well and create and join clubs:

SOMETIMES I get a cursor and I can type in the username. There is no tab button on the controller so I have to hit the B to get the cursor and choose the password line, except that now the cursor is gone for good.

Would you please give the following steps a try:

1. From the error message, select Enter alternate MAC address at the bottom of the screen, then select Manual
   
2. On a wireless PC connect to the Wi-Fi network you are trying to connect your console to. Once you have connected to your wireless network, you will now need to get the MAC address (physical address) of the PC
   
3. From your PC, open Command Prompt by typing CMD in the Cortana search box and then type ipconfig/all
   
4. Your MAC address is listed as "Physical Address" and is shown under the Ethernet adapter Ethernet section. Copy this number down and go back to your Xbox One console.
   
5. From your Xbox One console, enter the MAC address of your PC into the Alternate Wireless MAC address field. Once you have entered your MAC address, try connecting to your wireless network again.
