Authentication MAC Address not working and can’t connect to network

Whenever I connected to my wifi it said more authentication was needed. It said to either enter an alternate MAC address which did not work, to clear the MAC address which did not work, or to wait for more authentication and it sent me to a screen on Microsoft edge with the pause button on it and no matter how many times it would not work nor would the pause be unpaused. I have tried restarting and power cycling but my XBOX ONE will not connect to the network still. Any help is appreciated. (I also have checked similar threads but none has helped)

I am sorry to hear that.

Please, if you know how to do it, make a Wi-Fi hotspot router on your phone and connect to it.

That way we can isolate the issue, by testing another internet connection, using your mobile data plan.

1. Put your console into troubleshooting mode, You must hold the Pair button on the side, and hold the Eject button for 10-15 seconds until you get a first beep, Keep holding it for a while until you hear a second beep. and you will get a 3rd beep after holding it, it will take you to the troubleshooting screen,

2. Reset your Xbox, (It's your choice if you want to keep your games or not)

That doesn't help? Then choose a wired WiFi connection/LAN cable. Your wireless might be not faster (depends what company you buy it from)

Are you connecting your console to a hotspot, or a guest network at a hotel, which are secured by a captive portal (authentication web page)?

The second option require you to spoof the MAC address of an already associated/authenticated/authorized device and not the MAC address of whatever interface you're using to connect your Xbox (ethernet/wireless).

Also, make sure you're not concurrently connected with the current associated/authenticated/authorized device and your console, as they use the very same layer 2 identity.

It sounds like the WiFi network has some additional security. Try selecting 'Authenticate Now'. If that doesn't work, my advice is to contact Solider Net, making sure the Xbox's MAC address is allowed to connect.

To find your Xbox's MAC address, navigate to the Settings page Select Network > Advanced Settings.

Who controls your network? What you may have to do it contact them and get them to allow the MAC address of your console through security without the authentication step.

Another thing that I have heard of working is to go ahead and authenticate through the browser using your laptop/tablet/phone. Then set the MAC address of device as the alternate MAC address of the XBOX.
