Australian server support for assassin creed unity

"Current Xbox One games supported by Australian based Azure datacenters Xbox Live servers include Forza Motorsport 5, Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive, Halo: The Master Chief Collection."

They don't mention Titanfall in that last sentence but I think it is now on the azure servers.

    Australian Azure Servers....

Thanks! Yea anyone playing Forza, Halo or Sunset Overdrive are enjoying this now. I play a lot of Halo and it's a much nicer experience in matchmaking now. We have had to play most games at high pings in multiplayer for many years now so we appreciate the
    difference the azure servers make.

Woo. kk I'm NZ but Australia is only 2 HOURS BEHIND NZ were neighbours compared to the rest of the world. I'll hop on my X1 tomorrow so I expect to not see a ping higher than 199. Usually it's been averaging 187-260ms ping.

I have noticed especially on Xbox 360 when we (NZ and Australians) play with UK and US peps, especially in COD Black Ops 2, if an American or British person is hosting the game, we are the ones to get the poor connection (yellow or red bars). But when we,
are hosting (multiplayer/zombies), we have a good connection and they get red bars ;D.

But since Forza 5 has come out, I've found it mysteriously quick to find Playground Virus Tag matches on Forza 5, less than 45 seconds matchmaking time in my experience. It is Xbox Live and Microsoft isn't biased to only providing the service to just one
of two countries. Well... not everyone around the country can live on your street. I knew that Microsoft are bringing 2 data centres to Australia, Melbourne and Sydney. Well, it's better than us having to always connect to the American and UK servers. That's
a LONG way away. Just look at how long it takes to fly to the US/UK from here. I'm off to sleep Australian Azure Servers.... :)

    Australian Azure Servers....

New Zealand is also benefitting from it. I have been playing with some kiwis in multiplayer. You will only notice the difference in the games that are associated with the azure servers however. I'm sure more developers will begin to use them now they are
    online though.

  9. Ok, still takes forever to get a game, it still doesn't hold the same players together at the end of the match, It still crashes while loading the map randomly.

What it does do? You can actually shoot people and it's recognized, I don't seem to be De-ranked yet. There are improvements, still buggy.

I assume your talking about Halo RedEye? A lot of those issues are mainly on the developer. I'm sure the population issue will be fixed once the game is.

Titanfall was running on EA servers here in Australia. Azure was not even here when Titanfall was released.

    Australian Azure Servers....

@Zen, those were not MS dedicated Azure servers that are all linked together. Those were just servers in general controlled by EA (and borrowed if I remember) so at least they could play the game instead of syncing with a server 3000 miles away

Some people are saying on the 343 forums that Halo isn't running on them yet but it seems to have improved a lot lately. Hopefully we can get some confirmation from the game developers that they actually are using them already.
