    So those of us down under are currently struggling to enjoy Titanfall the way it was 'meant' to be played by having no local data server support.

    Our only options are to either connect to South East Asia where we all get 1/2 bar connections at best, or go with US West servers and try compete with 3 bar connections against people with LAN like response.

    Either situation is creating an experience that is tarnishing what is otherwise an incredible game experience.

    I've tried to contact MS Support via Twitter and was fobbed off. I tweeted Larry, was ignored. We've had numerous tweets with Respawn reps and they've just directed us back to Microsoft.

    After playing the beta, we've used their official feedback forum to post up this experience :

    We are being ignored.

    Anyone else as frustrated as I am on the lack of any official response on this?

    I REALLY want to enjoy Titanfall as it was 'meant' to be played, but it feels like we're getting a 2nd rate experience down under and no one in any position of authority wants to step in and clarify the matter and update us on a solution.

    Very frustrating!

    A poor connection or lag can cause what appears to be invincible players. Atleast that is when I experience this fenomina.

    im the host with very good connection

    This is a know issue within the Black Ops 2 community.

    What your experiencing is called Lag Compensation. Where the people with the good connections are basically throttled for the players with the poorer connections.

    It's call lag compensation. Do a quick search on the forums and read up on it. You game is working by design. Yes it's a poor design but that is how IW wants it to work. They want to create a even playing field, so the guy with the crap connection gets
    an advantage over a player with a good connection. The game is creating artificial lag to slow down players with good connections.

    Nearly unplayable

    Don't you realise that most games, including CoD, use Peer-2-Peer not Server-Client. This means the players become the servers, nothing hosted by Microsoft or Activision or anything like that. If you are experiencing lag, its either YOUR internet connection,
    or someone else's connection that can't handle the hosting. Often you can just continue to search til you find a good game. And you can't blame your poor reaction or poor skill as "lag"

    I'm impressed with the netcode for this.



    I have a few friends in the States playing this and we've had no lag with multiple players.



    You can get bad lag if someone with a poor connection crashes your party though.



    Everyone quickly moves on when that happens and it's quick enough to get yourself set up again.
