August update is not working for me

Ok so I turn on my xbox 1 and go to settings. and it tells me that I have no system update available. why is this happening? Anyone else getting the same thing?

Hey, guys! The August update should have resolved this issue. Please let me know if you are all good now, or if you are still not working!

 

SlingTV working on all devices (phone, computer, etc) but not Xbox One

Same here. Not working since nov-dec 2015. Had several sessions with SlingTV and Xbox one in Jan, Feb then in April. Waited for the Anniversary August update, still not working. Weird enough, working on my Windows 10 laptops (i5, i7 and Atom)

 

It may not have rolled out to you just yet, or, if your console is in Instant On mode, it may have already downloaded the update. Go to Settings > System > Console Info > OS version. If it says 1408 something, you have the August update. Otherwise, the updates
are usually sent out at different times, so maybe it wasn't sent to you.

If neither of these are true for you, you should go to the support forums for more answers. Hope you get it resolved!

 

Your Xbox One could have already downloaded it. As DragonSlayerX told you, go check your OS

 

Ok thanks guys. I was going through everything, but shouldn't I have the friends tab at the home menu? Or was that taken out of the update? Because I don't have it.
