August Update Info

What to Expect with the Next Xbox One Update

I'm glad when friends are offline it doesn't just say "offline". It will soon say when they were last online. And the friends improvement as well. I wish they would roll out an update to change the Dash background and be able to Voice Message at least between
all Xbox 1 consoles. I posted some feedback and it got more votes than I was expecting. Good news ^-^

Account suspended until I update payment info

My account is suspended until I update my payment info, but my membership dosen't expire till August 2014. Why is this a thing?

 

Problem with Thrustmaster TX Racing Wheel

Do you guys also have the latest game updates? This issue has been known for months but I'm also pretty sure it's been patched (see this thread about the August update:

You guys might also want to check out other posts in the hardware section of the forzamotorsport.net forums. There are a number of wheel users posting there regularly so you might be able to find some additional info on this issue. Good luck!!!

 

Also, unlock voice commands for NZ locale, but guess if I wanted to use the feature which I've used once before, can temporarily change it to Australia locale. Tried it in January and it worked.

 

I am really excited about his update, especially the friends and activity feed. That and remote downloads!

 

This is great and all but where the .... is the voice messaging feature?

I hear that, voice messaging needs to happen. I can't believe that has not happened yet after 8 months

Some cool additions. I would hope dashboard backgrounds are coming considering you van change the metro background on windows 8.

 

I hope it fixes the "Ready to Start" bug. :-/ Been stuck with that for months.

 

The Ready to Start is annoying, I had it in both disc & digital games. Only way I stopped it was to reinstall or download.

 

Hello everyone

Do you guys think that by the time I purchase an Xbox One this Fall 2015 that all of this old updates will already be pre-installed into the OS when I take the console out of the box?

Or do you think that I will still have to install all of these updates?

@Lei you will only install the latest updates. Each update already has the features from the previous update so you will just install one instead of 20.
