    Hello,

    Im currently experiencing a delay in audio when it comes to using the disc player on Xbox one. The drive will read the disc and play it as normal but as the disc plays on the audio tends to be quite off with the video and the volume seems to be unequalized
    or something, this happens with regular Dvd movies and Blu rays as well and I have to put up the tv quite a bit to be able to hear anything. I'm also experiencing an issue when it comes to "xbox turn on" as it seems like any command i tell the xbox , it wont
    turn on even though all the settings are as they need to be..is anybody experiencing the same issues?

    Blu-ray Player - audio sync, volume, unable to play disc, and freezing issues.

    Within the last week or two I started having problems with audio out of sync, DVD/BD discs not playable, and freezing while either Blu-ray player app is starting or when skipping tracks. I've noticed it more since the forced Blu-ray player app update. The
    system volume is also significantly lower when playing discs. Problem occurs with multiple discs, all of which play perfectly on my PS3.

    Games, Netflix and TV apps don't seem to have the audio sync or lower volume issues.

    Xbox One S - DVD & Blu-ray audio out of sync - DVD audio/video sync worse

    I just bought the Xbox One S Battlefield version a few days ago. When playing DVDs and Blu-Ray discs, the audio/video is out of sync. The audio/video sync is much worse on DVD discs.

    DVD/Blu-ray sync issue is only a fractions of a second, but lip movement does not match speech. Therefore it is most noticeable when people talk fast. I've used the new Star Trek movies for testing because I have DVD, Blu-Ray and Digital copies. Dr. McCoy
    talks the fastest, so the sync issue is most noticeable on him.

    My issue is limited to the Xbox One S Blu-ray/DVD player. I've tried the same setup with 3 different Blu-ray/DVD players without any issues. When watching TV or videos through streaming apps or cable box the audio/video is perfectly in sync.

    I contacted online chat and walked through all their suggestions (including power cycle, reinstall Blu-ray player, clear persistent storage, and reset to factory defaults). Their last suggestion is to exchange my Xbox for a new one.

    Does anyone else have other suggestions to correct the DVD audio/video sync issue?

    Is anyone else experiencing this audio sync issue? If so, do you have the same Xbox One S Battlefield Edition (Military green with 1 TB hard drive)

    UPDATE: Xbox One S returned. No solution for audio sync issue on DVD/Blu-ray playback.

    After scouring the internet I cannot find a solution. The Xbox Support seems to be correct. There was an issue with the Xbox One S where the audio was not in sync with the video on DVD and Blu-ray playback. I returned the Xbox One S.

    Hopefully few other experience the issue.

    Blu-Ray Player App Problem...

    I had the same happen with one of my Blu-ray discs.. But all the others worked ok.

    Not tried a DVD yet.

    The Blu-ray playback has lip-sync problems, so they will hopefully get this app thoroughly reviewed.

    Xbox one disk read error all formats suddenly. Had no issues before. Xbox turned itself on by itself and when shut down the power light flashes slowly white? My drive makes a grinding noise. Have a niggle this is a software issue

    Looking online, the error 0x91d7000 seems to relate to backed up Blu-Ray discs.

    Is this the kind of disc you are trying to use or does it happen on all kinds of discs, DVD, Audio, Original Blu-Ray etc?

    When the console is on and the light flashes, it is usually syncing settings and shutting down. Nothing to worry about with that.

    multi-format drives designed to read both (I have two).



    Beyond the physical inability to read an HD DVD in a Blu-ray drive, there's the issue of software. HDi Interactive Format was the standard used to create HD DVD menus and other content on-disc outside of the actual movie files. Blu-ray uses scripts and Java.
    Unless playback software can understand HDi Interactive Format, HD DVD menus won't work and the disc won't play.



    If it was possible for Blu-ray players to play HD DVD, people wouldn't be holding onto HD DVD drives.

    Hi,

    Sounds like the laser in your console's Blu-ray drive has a hardware issue.

    To test if your Xbox One X has issues reading discs, try playing a DVD movie disc. If can't read DVD movie discs either then your console has a hardware fault.

    Note: It must be a DVD movie disc, not a Blu-ray movie disc.

    There are two lasers in the Blu-ray drive, one for reading Blu-ray discs and one for DVD discs. Xbox One games use Blu-ray and the 360 console used a DVD drive.
