  1. Audio Submenu Disappeared From Settings Menu

    Just today, my XBox One X deleted the Audio option on the Settings submenu. When you press a light touch on the Controller's XBox lit up logo, you get the menu that pops up all the options for navigating Xbox menus. On the far right is the SETTINGS menu
    which normally has the following submenu options;

    • Audio
    • Restart Console
    • Restart Controller
    • Xbox One X Assistance/Support
    Well, the Audio option just up and disappeared.

    I did the following in an attempt to correct;

    1. Reboot the console.
    2. Update the console software.
    3. Re-establish the wireless internet connection.

    Problem fixed? Nope. Still no audio option available in Settings submenu. HTF are you supposed to change audio settings when they don't even show up as an option? Are XBox engineers really this **** incompetent?

    :)

    Audio Submenu Disappeared From Settings Menu

    Do you have a headset plugged in? The Audio option only appears when a headset is plugged in and in that case you would need to open the Settings - Display & sound menu to make whatever changes are available there. This is true for original Xbox One too
    as I see it currently with no headset plugged into my controller.

    I don't have the Audio option there either, I am using an Astro A40 + Mix Amp M80. The Mix Amp has a built in game and voice balancer, as well as volume control, So I've never really needed that.

    Do you have a headset that is plugged in to the controller and registered by the Xbox?

    Audio Issues

    Hey guys!

    Sorry to hear about the game audio issues. Try setting the audio output to Stereo for Optical audio and HDMI audio (which ever applies). To do so, follow these steps:

    • On your Xbox One controller, press the Menu button and select Settings.
    • From the Settings menu, select Display & Sound.
    • From this menu, you can change the audio output setting's in the far right group.
    Change the audio output to Stereo and let me know how it goes!

    Menu lagging and kick out of Submenu

    Hi Phalas,

    Sorry to hear about the troubles.

    This issue is usually related to some sort of network issue. Let's run through our

    how to delete your profile ??

    From the system settings menu, go into memory, then the device your profile is on (probably the HDD). There should be a profile submenu... Go into that and erase the profile in question. It will ask if you want to delete just the profile or all the saves
    associated with it.
