    I just want to report an issue which is plaguing my Xbox Series X since November until today, even on latest stable/production Dashboard OS.

    Basically every time the console is using network bandwidth intensively (as downloading/updating a game in background or starts streaming a 4K/HDR video on YouTube app), my Xbox Wireless Headset audio (LucidSound LS35X updated with latest firmare v2.5) starts to crackle VERY BADLY when watching video contents (Netflix app in 4K/Dolby Vision and YouTube app in 4K/HDR).

    This can be reproduced easily as as soon the background download stops the stutters diminishes (Netflix app) or just stops completely (all Xbox games, which don't use a lot of network data), but it's still present where higher bandwidth is used to stream 4K/HDR videos (YouTube app).

    It's also worth noticing that this is NOT happening when connecting the same Wireless Headset on PC via the Xbox Wireless USB dongle, so to confirm this is not an issue related to the headset or my home network configuration, but it's just related to some sort of Xbox Series X interference between its network card/usage and its Xbox Wireless antenna/protocol.

    Please, could you investigate for a fix?

    I also opened 2 requests directly from the console when using both YouTube and Netflix app and experience crackling at the same time.

    Bluetooth does not have the bandwidth for Xbox audio. You need to either purchase the wireless controller adapter or use a USB connection for headset support

    Hi Ashton. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor.

    I assume you are connecting the headset to your PC using Bluetooth, is that correct? Unfortunately, this is simply a limitation of Bluetooth technology.

    Bluetooth does not have enough bandwidth for high-quality audio while the microphone is in use, so there will be a noticeable difference in audio quality when you're on a call. This won't happen on Series X, as it doesn't connect to the headset using Bluetooth.

    It's recommended to use an Xbox Wireless Adaptor for Windows instead of Bluetooth. It uses a different wireless technology which doesn't have this limitation.

    Instead of headset adapter I would rather buy a controller with bluetooth built in.

    I believe the new wireless headsets will be using wi-fi direct...not bluetooth. The bandwidth is greater allowing for better audio quality.
