Audio stuttering on Arctis 9x with Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10

Thanks for the reply. I've already completed all the steps on the website. I'm also able to connect my xbox controller to the dongle, but haven't been using the controller while troubleshooting.

Steps I've taken:

1. Ensure all firmware/software updates were added

2. Completed all the steps in the link provided above

3. Turned off the router to avoid any interference

4. Installed/reinstalled both SteelSeries GG software, and drivers

5. Received a second pair of headsets in the mail with the same issue

6. Moved the dongle as close to the headset as possible

7. Talked with the support for the Headset and still experiencing the same issues

All the above steps still produces the clicking every 15-30 seconds...

Side note: I've noticed that in the sound control panel, the headsets are labeled as headphones (xbox controller), and muting in windows does not stop the audio from going to the headset. Altering the volume in the sound control panel also appears to not do anything

There's a step that details how to reset the headset there. Try that out and let us know if it resolves the issue.

Are you able to connect other Xbox devices (i.e.: Xbox Wireless Headset, Xbox Wireless Controller, etc.) to the Wireless adapter? If you have a controller and the headset connected to the device at the same time, can you try using the headset with the adapter by itself to see if you notice any changes?

Since we do not make this headset, your best option may be to contact SteelSeries support first to see if they are able provide you with a solution. If you're able to identify that this is not a problem with the headset or it's firmware after troubleshooting with them, let us know and we'll try our best to help solve your issue.

I followed the above steps, but still ran into the same issue. I returned the Arctis 9x and got an Arctis 9 instead, which came with its own 2.4ghz dongle. There isn't any clicking noises, so I suspect it was either the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows or the Windows 10 itself being the issue.
