  1. Audio Stutter using Headphones & Headsets

    Hi there.

I have a horrible AUDIO Stutter on my XBox One X using a ARCTIC 9X. It is hearable like short disconnections without any specific rhythm. Sometimes 5 stutters a minute, sometimes 5 minutes without problems. It is absolutely no fun to listen. It happens in gaming and even watching a movie.

I tryed these fixes: I rebooted several times. Connected & disconnected. Reset the Console. Switch Headphone Audio Settings from Stereo uncompressed to Sonic or Atmos and vice versa. I updated the console. Switched external Audio Receiver on or off. I tryd to send different audio formats to receiver and/or headphone. I tryed the Omega version of the XBOX system with the XBox insider program. I updated the Firmware of the Headphone. Doesn't help.

I even tryed to use the headset via 3.5 connection to the Controller. Does not help.

Use another headphone via 3.5 mm Jack. Does not help. Use another controller. Does not help.

Change the sequence of turning on Headset & controller. Does not help.

I read some posts that is might has to to with the Controller.

But the stutter is as well watching a movie with a disconnected Controller.

Once again: I hear a crystal clear sound on the TV and/or the AV Receiver.

But if I decide to go with a Headset or any Headphone I hear a mess like this:

_ut if I _cide to go with a Headset or _ny Headphone _ hear _ like this!

    Any idea?

    :)

Xbox One X Dolby Atmos problem

If you’re plugging stereo headsets into your controller or your console for the first time, your headset format defaults to
Stereo uncompressed. You can use spatial sound with any headset by using one of the following:

    Windows Sonic
    – This is the spatial sound setting Microsoft offers for an immersive headset experience. Plug any stereo headset into your controller or plug in an Xbox wireless accessory to your console before changing your headset setting to
    Windows Sonic for Headphones.

Dolby Atmos for Headphones – Dolby Atmos for Headphones is a premium headset audio format that works with all headsets. If you’d rather use Dolby Atmos for Headphones, choose this setting
under Headset audio. You can learn more about Dolby Atmos for Headphones in the app.

    To change headset audio settings:

    1. Press the Xbox button
to open the guide and select System > Settings.
    2. Select Display & sound > Audio output.
    3. Choose one of the headset audio options.

    Microsoft really screwed up, Again

Could you not just use your current headset/headphones for audio and the Kinect as a mic !?

Are non-xbox 360 headphones compatible with xbox 360?

Not headphones, the controller plug is smaller and used for chat, headphones won't fit. My 360 Turtle beach headset gets its game audio from the TV too.

Xbox Series X - no optical audio port?

    Spdif port?

It's a optical digital port that sends sound basically.

A lot of the headphone kits for xbox use it to get audio to there headsets, as do a lot of audio receivers.
