    Audio stops working when I open Minecraft Bedrock, Windows 10.


    When I open it, my audio goes corrupt and I can't hear anything except for this weird faint static sound. I couldn't hear my friends when we were in a call. When I close the app, the sound goes back to normal. This is the only game where my audio just stops mysteriously working. All my other games work, the audio is fine. I can't play bedrock with my friends, anybody have a fix?

    Sorry to hear about your issues where your audio stops working when you open the Minecraft application. It looks like there is a bug filed with Mojang discussing this issue.     No, for some reason Minecraft.net does not show the purchased Minecraft Bedrock Windows 10 Edition. I did not run minecraft through the launcher, I downloaded it from the Microsoft store and just opened it without using the launcher.

    No audio for Minecraft Bedrock edition, Windows 10.

    I recently started playing minecraft bedrock edition again and having issues with having no sound for it. I've played previously on this PC without issue.

    PC hardware is a:

    2950x processor

    x399 zenith extreme motherboard

    2070 super gpu

    Sound works fine in all the other games I play and programs I use.

    I've installed sound drivers from motherboard manufacturers support page for it.

    I've also tried all the steps linked to in this ticket

    When I run the windows troubleshooter linked in Method 1 , upon completion it says 'Generic Audio Driver', even though my audio driver is up-to-date and from my motherboard manufacturers website. I'm not sure if this is related or not.
    Media Feature Pack is the solution otherwise you can get Java Edition, free audio. Windows 10 is more as you can download mods onto there.
