    Audio stops for 5-10 seconds after pausing/resuming Amazon video


    Anyone else seeing this? I only have an alpha console so I can't check to see if it is related to the Amazon video app itself or to the Xbox software.

    Never used to happen, just started happening after a recent Xbox update.

    Watching a movie, pause the video. Come back and resume the video. Video starts playing but no audio, audio comes back (correctly in sync) 5,10, up to 15 seconds later.

    I have a nyko media remote with a pause/play button for Xbox one. A few weeks ago the pause stopped working in Netflix but works fine in plex. I can pause with the Xbox controller with no issues. Currently we have to stop and then resume the video.

    I just ran into the same problem this morning and emptying the cache also worked for me. This fixed issues with no audio while watching live TV and stuttering video that would pause every 5 seconds or so as if the picture was buffering.

    I have been having the same issues. Pauses of video and audio, pauses of video but audio continues, it renders the video unwatchable. finally got fed up and went to support, they told me to clear my persistent storage cache. this did not help. they did
    refund. it is definitely the Xbox One Video streaming issue as i can watch the same video on Amazon and not have the same issues. Hopefully they will get this fixed soon, i really want to use the service so i can have the videos across my system.

    try starting the download/install then pause it, wait a few minutes then resume the download.

    I had to do this a few times to install NMS as the download speed kept dropping or stopping but pausing and resuming got it to download in the end
