    Audio stopped working on Xbox One


    Have had my Xbox One since it came out, no issues with it at all, nothing changed recently besides a possible system update. The audio to my TV via the HDMI cable suddenly stopped working. I just have the HDMI cable that came with the Xbox going to my TV/

    The cable is fine, tested it with another device. The TV is fine, also tested with another device. I even tried connecting up the optical audio output and that is not working either, again, tested that cable with another device.

    Not much else I can think of. Is this worth repairing or just replacing?

    OPTICAL AUDIO: Don't have any Optical Audio speaker systems.

    I just got a Xbox One S a week ago and the 3.5mm audio was working just fine up until Friday when it stopped working. What can/should I do?

    XBox One - Audio - Stopped working

    Occasionally I'll loose audio with this game too. I'll finish a match and the audio will just cut out. Very Strange. Some times it even knocks out my whole systems audio thought the stero headset. This has happened when the controller disconnects randomly
    while playing game.

    Sorry I forgot to include that info: HDMI cables. I have made sure it's not the cables that are malfunctioning - they work fine with other items.

    Hi baozer, firstly what kind of cables are you using? The component cables(red.yellow,white,green,blue) that came with the Xbox or an HDMI cable?

    Sorry, I tried all of that and nothing worked.

    However, there is some good news. I turned my Xbox on yesterday and the audio was working again.

    I turned it on today and the audio didn't work. But then I turned the Xbox on and off and it worked again - so I'm not quite sure what the problem is. The audio seems to work intermittently. I will just hope for the best at this point. Thank you for
