Audio still cutting out after second Xbox one

I use x31's as my source of audio, but since they aren't fully compatible with HDMI, I use a 3.5 male to male converter that I connect to the transmitter and then the audio jack on my TV. When I play on my 360 (component), I don't hear the audio skips, but
when I play my Xbox one I do.

Update: So I tried playing my 360 on 720p with the same HDMI cable/port that I had connected to my Xbox one. It's been four or so hours now and still no audio cuts. This is making me wonder if the reason I'm getting these audio cuts is because of playing
in 1080p. When previously tested on my 360, I played in 1080p. I have yet to try playing 720p on my Xbox one. I will post another update again if this thread is still alive

Was running at 1080. Just set my resolution down to 720 and my audio stopped cutting out immediately. Not sure if my TV is rated for 1080.

@Primitive: The pins on both HDMI ports seem straight. I've also tried the other HDMI port on my TV as well as different HDMI cables; always get the same result. As for the firmware, I don't think I've ever actually updated it. The TV is quite old, from
early 2007 when LED's started to become popular. Would there even be an updated firmware for such an old TV?

The only option I can choose is uncompressed. When I get home, i'll hook up my 360 to HDMI and see if the problem persists. Will post an update soon.

are you only using the HDMI for audio? Are you using optical? Just clarifying.... As wizard said try another HDMI cable. Is it running directly to your TV? a receiver?

Unless you have been extremely unlucky and have received two Xbox One's with the same defect, id suggest the issue lies with your other hardware.

Have you tried using a totally different HDMI cable? And do you use the TV for anything else other than gaming on the Xbox? If so check the audio whilst just watching TV/DVD to see if it cuts out too.
