Audio Problems on Tomb Raider Definitive Edition.

I've been having some audio problems with this game. I noticed that when there is a pre-rendered cutscene, such as when she watched the video on her camera or the opening pre-rendered cinematic, the audio tends to skip and glitch up. I'm not terribly sure
what the source of it is. I've had playback issues with Ryse's pre-rendered cinematics where I noticed they tend to jitter and skip a bit. I hope this isn't a problem with my console.

New XBOX One experience, I'm ready for it.

How is saying "Cortana go to Tomb Raider Definitive Edition" any more childish than saying "Xbox go to Tomb Raider Definitive Edition"?

 

I got this problem too. It's driving me nuts.

 

I just bought Tomb Raider today and noticed that the sound cuts out every few seconds. Hope they fix this soon.

 

I have the problem with nearly all the cut scenes have to skip them then it gets stuck, driving me mad now.

 

Same here. Audio skips like mad in the cut scenes. I'm getting seriously bored with all these games being released with bugs. Seems like every game you buy these days will guarantee to have a bug that will ruin your experience.

 

This is happening to me too. Swapped the game at ASDA last night thinking it was the disc but took the replacement copy home and the same thing happened. Lent it my brother and it works fine on his. Did a factory reset on my xbox one and still no joy.

Last thing I can think of to try is I have changed the resolution settings on my xboxone to 1080p but at 50hz instead of 60 because it was making my sky box that is running through my xbox laggy. Will update once I've tried changing it back to 60 but other
than that I have no idea.

 

FIXED! make sure your xboxone display settings are set to 1080p 60hz. Just done it and now the cutscenes are fine

 

Im having the same issue, I'm currently set to1080p but I still get terrible audio during cut scene. Any ideas?

 

Same issue here, 50hz/60hz no difference.

 

i have some annoying ringing sound on my game. I can not make it stop. I may just try to return it and get a new copy.

 

this stuff happens when games are not rewritten and they are just modified to fit a different platform. The good news is there should not be a lot of complaints because nobody purchased the game. Because it is identical to the 360 version. I think 12
years ago people used to buy things just to see them in HD. That fad is over and people would rather watch or play a good game on bad graphics than a great graphic game that they have already played.

 

Hi i encountered a similar issue with in-game cutscenes where my audio would just mute for cutscenes. I found that the fix was to change the systems audio settings to 'Stereo' from either 7.1 or 5.1. Hope that helps.

 

Tried to play this game a few minutes ago and no sound what so ever. Thanks xbox...thanks for giving me one more reason to feel like *** for buying this *** console. The problems never end with this thing.
