    Audio pops/cracks when streaming xcloud on LG Tribute Monarch, Android 10


    I get constant popping audio on an LG Tribute Monarch phone with Android 10 while streaming any game, while I do not get it on an older Samsung Galaxy J7 Perx with Android 8 which is clear with no problems. It's like popping you can hear when having network
    issues, but on the LG the popping is constant even with a solid connection (no network trouble icon onscreen). The actual gameplay is fine on either phone. This is on the same 5G 100 down/10 up connection, same headphones, less than 10 feet from the router.

    The audio popping only happens on the LG Tribute Monarch when playing xcloud games, all other audio and video/audio on it is fine (including streaming video/audio). Using the 8bitdo Pro Xbox branded bluetooth controller with no other BT devices. Using plug-in
    headphones on both. I also tried different headphones.

    Hi,

    It's not possible yet. Xcloud streaming is only available for Android phones and tablets. My guess is it will be available eventually for streaming to Windows 10. I don't know when that will be.

    When you say streaming can you clarify a bit so we can better help troubleshoot?

    Are you talking about streaming to Mixer or Twitch?

    Local streaming to the Windows 10 Console Companion App?

    Streaming from the beta xCloud service on Android or iOS?

    Streaming the beta remote Console Streaming on Android or iOS?

    Or a different method?

    Which ever it is will wildly change our ability to help, and where the best place to post might be. Let us know!

    You will be able to use this feature when xCloud launching. You will be able to streaming to other devices.

    Also, there is an app for Android and iOS called Onecast, maybe you should try.

    Is playing xbox games possible without a console? Is projectXcloud up, running and giving any services?

    Xcloud isn't available on PC yet.

    The only way to play via a PC/Laptop is via an Android emulator such as Bluestacks.

    This should work fine on your laptop specs. Remember, Xcloud is a streaming service, all the graphics processing is done server side and sent to your device. That's why it can run on Android phones.

    Streaming should work fine on your laptop but it's not powerful enough to run PC Game Pass titles natively. Your machine is probably one of Dell's flagship 'Inspiron' range from about 3 years ago. Fine for basic productivity, awful for gaming.
