Audio Passthrough

Does anyone know yet, whether or not MS are working on providing an update that allows full audio passthrough of DTS-HD /True-HD to a receiver? I know you can output in 7.1 PCM but I have a receiver that can do the decoding, so would rather have this do
it, than the xbox one

No Sound at all on Dashboard or System

Update your HDPVR2 drivers. Make sure that your passthrough is configured properly in Hauppage capture/Streemeez. (Frankly, don't use Happauge Capture. Use Streemeez to configure your audio and video inputs and passthroughs.) Don't blame the hardware when
you don't have it configured properly. The HDMI signal carries both audio and video. If the handshake is made, everything is there. If it isn't, then you see nothing.

PC HDMI Passthrough Video Lag

Hey guys,

Is anyone else doing this? I'm currently getting a video lag when using my PC through the HDMI passthrough. I corrected the Audio lag through the sound settings by selecting HDMI audio instead of Speaker audio.

Does anyone else have mouse/video lag?

None of us have any idea..I am sure in time it will come, but for now regrettably MS offers no word on this or even acknowledgement.

They will acknowledge the issues when the PS4 sends this console to the junk yard if they don't start adding the simplest of functions. It's ridiculous. Already darn near got the HDD over half full from the 10 games I have. And no, I'm not gonna uninstall
them and reinstall when I get a urge to play them either.

I find it funny they say its the "all in one entertainment center" when its not... Can't play my 3D blurays. Don't get my HD surround. Can't use it with my set top box cuz it looks like S@#T!....can watch Netflix cuz its always buffering (and yes its only

Yeah, I also noticed my cable box looked blurry through the xbox. so I don't even bother to use it for that. I would if I could still watch my cable box without it being on with a HDMI pass through.

the controller has to be hardwired for audio to work as the xbox controller bluetooth does not allow audio passthrough.

are you sure that is the version with speakers, it will have audio controls usually for audio passthrough to the headphone jack on the back

the console does not even have any bluetooth hardware internally, the controllers do as they can connect via bluetooth to pc and wifi to the console.

the reason you see the console under devices on pc is due to it being on the same network.

the controller can be paired via bluetooth on pc but with limitations.

audio passthrough on the controller will not work via bluetooth

wired connection supports audio passthrough

wireless connection with a microsoft wireless adapter for controller with support audio passthrough.

Hello Brooklyn680, try to check your audio settings, they have to be configured to send the sound to the TV, in your case the monitor and its controls.

"To access Audio Passthrough, press the Xbox button  to open the guide, and then go to Profile and System > Settings > General > Volume and Audio Output > Additional Options > Allow Passthrough."

When in General Volume Audio & Output, try setting Speaker Audio to Uncompressed Stereo, and Headset Audio to Windows Sonic.
