    Audio over USB on Xbox Series X


    Just got the xbox series x, and was under the impression that it supports audio over usb. I tried connecting the razer nari ultimate (for PC) to the xbox through USB, but it doesn't work. Am i missing something, or waiting on a firmware update from xbox
    or razer?

    There are multiple articles stating audio compatibility via USB. If optical is necessary, there are various HDMI to optical devices available which you may need to add.

    If it is not an Xbox specific model, which also may work with PC, it wont work.

    GooD Tips: The headset USB kit can be connected to the TV,
    most new TVs support this function, but the microphone does not work :(

    So it's a half and half approach...

    Microsoft is a huge corporation, one audio driver prepared for Windows (and signed) would probably handle a million headsets.

    There is also no list of compatible kits...

    My setup is claimed to be Xbox compatible - however it doesn't work with Xbox (USB not work, audio jack has no port).
