Audio Optimization After Recent Update

Hey guys, I just thought I would hop on here and get some input seeing as how I have been out of the audio tech loop for a while. Anyway, I have my turtle beach headset plugged in through optical. They are 7.1 surround with the channel processor. (X11's,
I believe.) So, with the new settings after the new update, do you guys suggest leaving it on stereo uncompressed or setting it to 7.1? I ask because sometimes these settings are finnicky and don't work as they should. I'm, obviously looking to make the sound
as clean and dynamic as possible. Thanks in advance guys.

No in game dialogue audio

After recent update, when I download new games there are no or very quite dialogue audio. Does anyone have the same problem or know how to fix it ?

 

XB1 headset audio crackling and cutting out.

I have gone through three different headsets with my third purchase being an hour before writing this, I am having audio issues with a crackling and static sound during game volume, as well as audio dropping out. My Xbox also quit responding to my elite
controller and had to be reset all of this has started after the recent update.

 

Through some testing, I have found that bitstream out and DTS Digital Surround best supports the 7.1 Surround Sound processor. For anyone interested.
