    Audio not working after update.


    When I turned on my XBox One yesterday, it started updating. No problem. For the first time, it was a three stage update: Download, Verify and Install. It installed fine, but after it was finished, I no longer had sound. I have the sound from the Optical
    Out in to a Bose sound bard. Rebooting did not help, nor did playing with the audio settings.

    As a work-around, I am receiving sound from the TV itself coming from the HDMI cable. How can I get the sound to come from the Optical Out again?

    This is an issue more gamers are facing. Restarting xbox might work. Otherwise check the in game audio options and the audio settings on xbox, they might chamged after the update 😉

    Nov 2012 update causing issues with my 360

    The Nov 27 update seems to have killed digital audio output from my 360.

    The boot sound effect when the xbox logo comes up still works in full surround, but all sounds after that no longer work through the fiber optic digital audio output.
