Audio/mic problem stuttering choppy audio xbox one x

I'm having a major audio problem on my xbox one x it doesnt happen out of the tv itself but when I play my games I play with my headset generally turtlebeach xofours. The issue is and just started 3 weeks ago maybe seldomly longer then 3 weeks but it's gotten
worse so basically when in game and most of the time I'm in party chat too my audio cuts out like stuttering choppy mess and while it's happening I'm trying to tell my friends it's doing so they claim my voice is choppy and stuttering aswell and it happens
a lot I've tried using a different headset I've tried using a different controller I've tried not using the adapters.. I've contacted xbox support and we've gone through several different steps hard resetting taking my account off my console full factory reset
with keeping my games and apps etc. And then the last thing was checking my upnp turning it off saving them back on. And making sure my config is at zero. And still the audio problem persists my controllers say they are fully up to date.. my console is up
to date. I've tried tweaking audio settings too in the xbox but it doesnt help either

Any help to resolve this would be greatly appreciated

Hi. My mic doesn’t work on Xbox one X, it worked fine on my regular Xbox one, and I can hear audio perfectly fine. I’ve tried two headsets that are exactly the same, on three different controllers, and it still doesn’t pick up any audio from my mic.

Sounds like you have done quite a bit of troubleshooting so far. Would you mind posting a photo of your detailed network stats so we can see what you are working with? These network stats will be the speeds that your console is receiving.

I am having the same problem, I have the Astro A50 headset, the audio cuts in and out constantly, the Astros have a base station for charging the headset connected via the USB for power and the optical cable for sound. I notice when the sound cuts out the
lights on my base station go out as if it has lost connection intermediately. When I move the base station for the headset and my router away from my xbox by about a foot or two, the audio stops cutting in and out and works perfectly. Must be some interference
wifi maybe?

 

Same issue here - the audio would stutter making the gaming experience dreadful. Why would this be related to wifi? Do you think it is an overheating issue?
