Audio/mic help

Discus and support Audio/mic help in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I am trying to connect my Astro A40 TR Pro Mix amp and my blue yeti to my Xbox One and PC simultaneously. How ever I'm uneducated on how to do this.... Discussion in 'XBoX on Windows' started by fanov89, Apr 9, 2019.

    Audio/mic help


    I am trying to connect my Astro A40 TR Pro Mix amp and my blue yeti to my Xbox One and PC simultaneously. How ever I'm uneducated on how to do this. I've tried multiple ways but it always ends up with poor mic quality or a awful buzzing sound.

    Have you tried lowering your mic monitoring? That may help, my mic use to echo really bad. Till I lowered my mic monitoring on the audio settings.

    Hi there,

    Thank you for coming to the forums, I'd be happy to help.

    If your headset plugs into the 3.5 mm audio port, you can managed the audio settings and mic options by pressing the Xbox button and then scrolling all the way to the right then select "Audio". There should be an option to switch your mic on and off.

    You can also go to the Xbox accessories app and press the three dots and then "Volume".
