    Hello,

    I have a new Xbox One S console connected and have the same setup as the original Xbox One console I replaced (well, moved to the basement). The issue is this. I am using the exact same connetction method. Cable Box -> Xbox One S (via HDMI); Xbox One
    S -> Soundbar (via HDMI); Soundbar -> TV (HDMI).

    Using this connection, I am getting an audio lag issue when watching TV (audio lags behind the video). I have all systems udpated to the most recent firmware (Xbox, Soundbar, and TV). I also checked all settings on my Xbox, TV, and Soundbar. Here is the
    strange thing. Using the EXACT same setup with my original Xbox One, I get no audio lag. All I am doing is replacing the Xbox One with the Xbox One S in this setup and this introduces audio lag. As a test, I connected the cable box via optical directly
    to the soundbar and then HDMI to the TV for video. This reduces/eliminates the lag. However, by doing this, I am unable to use one of my favorite features of the Xbox One, which is to connect my TV through the Xbox so I only have to use one input on the
    TV and get to use the OneGuide feature.

    Why would the Xbox One S present audio lag where the original Xbox One does not? Is this a known issue? I just want to know if I need to exchange my system for a new one while still in the exchange period (I ordered my system Thanksgiving morning)?

    Xbox One S and Sonos dd5.1

    I have sonos 5.1 in my front room and this worked fine with my Original Xbox One using bitstream output. But now with my new Xbox One S I can't get any audio output when setting the xbox to output over bitstream.

    Any indication when and if this will be supported/enabled on the Xbox One S?

    Sorry to hear about the issue. Do note that the
    home theater setup guide     does mention that this kind of basic setup with an A/V receiver, you're passing both audio and video through another device. Depending on your equipment, there's a small risk of audio or video lag. With that in mind, what is the
    make and model of both your soundbar and TV? It's possible that one (or both) of those isn't able to handle what the Xbox One S is outputting and is trying to compensate which is causing the audio lag.

    Xbox one S blu-ray audio/video Sync problem

    I contacted support & tried all their suggestions including a full system reset. The audio lag is slightly reduced for Blu-ray disc playback, but a small lag still exists on blu-ray.

    However the audio lag on DVD discs is much worse. I bought my Xbox One S 3 days ago & support told me to return it for a new one.

    I have the Xbox One S Battlefield edition (military green Xbox). I'm curious if you have the same version.

    The Xbox One S uses the Kinect camera used in the original Xbox One but requires an additional adapter to connect it to the console.

    The short answer to your question "Can I re-install those on my new Xbox One S", is yes. Your games and apps are tied to your Xbox Live account and you should not have any problems using them on your new Xbox One S. For move information see, "Moving
