audio jack problems

I've noticed after playing a lot with my mic plugged in the jack doesn't work anymore and when it does work it only lasts for a few seconds before "we can't find a microphone for these people" shows up I think it's my controller
is there any way to get a refund on a controller if so please tell me.

I have same problems with this controller. Drivers are broken. Microsoft shame on you.

Ah, I was wrong Tex. Xbox live jack is 1.5 and audio jack is 3.5

Generally official Xbox controllers have 90 day warranties, but this varies by country. If you're within the return exchange period with the retailer it's best to work with them to exchange the controller. Otherwise you'll want to reach out to the chat/phone

I doubt getting an answer for my hi-fi headphone - attachable mic - microsoft adapter problem as posted above. It probably would not work anyway. Maybe a compromise solution could be: PC headset with two 3.5mm jacks (audio + mic). The audio jack to the DAC,
mic jack to the adapter.

This might be the only way to get chat audio to the headset while maintaining superior game audio from the DAC. Check out the forthcoming Audio Technica ATH ADG1 PC headset.

I have the S27A950D samsung monitor and It only has a audio out jack and no actual settings for audio.. The volume when watching movies on the xbox is really low, anyone know the problem?

I have always used the adapter and have never had a problem with audio.
