audio issue with xbox apps

I am unable to but before I updated to windows 11 it did not do this

I see, are you able to test if this issue occurs with a different pair of headphones?

I recommended completely disabling the microphone in the settings to see if that helps:

On the Windows taskbar, right-click the speaker icon and select 'Sounds'.

Go to recording devices, right-click on the headphone's microphone, and select Disable.

Bluetooth has limited bandwidth. For this reason, when you use the microphone on a pair of Bluetooth headphones, the audio sample rate has to be reduced. This can cause issues in some apps which don't adjust to sample rate changes.

To prevent this, you'll have to use a different microphone.

Select Start > Settings > System > Sound.
In Sound settings, go to Input and in the Choose your input device list, select the microphone or recording device you want to use.

I recommend uninstalling and then reinstalling the Xbox app on your device, you can follow these general steps:

Uninstall the Xbox app:

On Windows: Go to the "Start" menu and search for "Settings." Open settings and select "Applications." Find "Xbox" in the list of installed apps, click it, and select "Uninstall."

Restart your device: After uninstalling the Xbox app, restart your device to make sure all changes are applied correctly.

Download and install the Xbox app:

On Windows: Open the Microsoft Store on your device and search for "Xbox." Select the Xbox app in the search results and click "Install" to download and install it again on your device.

Sign in to the Xbox app: After installing the Xbox app, open it and sign in with your Xbox account to access all features and functions.

Additionally to this try reinstalling Microsoft Gaming Services as follows:

1. In Windows Search search for "Windows Powershell" and run it as administrator. Then copy and paste the following command and press Enter on your keyboard:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-appxpackage -allusers

2. Open the Xbox app and it will detect that you need gaming services. You can download them by clicking on the "Download" button that will appear right there. If you cannot do this in the previous way or if a problem occurs, then try using the following command in the Windows Powershell window, running it as administrator through the process described in the first step:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

3. It is recommended that you restart your PC by finishing the download and installation of the game services.

4. Check if the problem is fixed.
