    Audio issue when switch from game (COD Ghost) back to TV.


    When I switch back to TV after playing a game audio sounds like everyone is sucking on Helium. This doesn't happen all the time but enough that it is becoming annoying. My current fix is to restart the xbox one console. Again, doesn't happen every time.

    Can't Switch Audio with Snap Feature

    So I just received my XBox One and been playing with it under a different Gamertag. We've found the snap feature and have been playing COD Ghosts with live TV through this 'Snap' feature. I must admit, it is very cool however there does not seem to be a
    way to switch the audio. For example, right now we can hear the audio from the TV but we want to switch and listen to the audio from the COD and just watch TV. Is this possible?

    Xbox one Game DVR Problem (No Audio) after April Update

    I'm having the same issue. I have a clip from Battlefield 4 that I uploaded a while back and it has full audio, but the two clips that I recently uploaded from COD: Ghosts have no audio at all. Nobody wants to watch a clip with no audio!

    I am sorry to hear about the issue. To get a better idea of what is at play here, the following information is very useful.

    1. Make & Model of STB (cable/sat box)

    2. TV Provider

    3. Layout (example: STB HDMI Xbox One HDMI TV) (please note splitters and hubs).

    I am not going to have you jump through 1000 hoops if I can avoid it. But, the info above helps a lot, there may be a simple setting issue.

    I am using a DISH NETWORK JOEY which is direct HDMI connect to XBOX and XBOX is direct HDMI connect to TV. I also have the audio optical connection from XBOX to my Sony STR 997E reciever. The audio is garbled (Helium Voices) in both stereo reciever output
    and TV output. Happened again last night.

    I too recently have had the crash to homescreen, mostly for cod ghosts. anyways for anyone getting a crash to home screen in any game. check your system settings / display and sound settings / digital audio. ull see two options HDMI AUDIO and OPTICAL AUDIO.
    change your optical audio setting to off.

    and leave your hdmi audio to stereo uncompressed or whatever your preference.

    note1* this only fixed my crash to homescreen issues with cod ghosts. campaign gameplay.

    note2* the crash occured everytime even when doing different things in game. 5-6 times probably more.

    i tried uninstalling the game reinstalling clearing the system cache cold boot etc.. with no luck.

    the switching of the optical audio to off seem to do the trick.
