Audio issue, rather peculiar!

Hey guys,

I have a rather specific issue with my Xbox 360 original (Premium 60gb).

If I play a game, or a DVD - my audio is absolutely fine. however, if I go on an app (ie: All 4; Netflix; BBC iPlayer) the audio plays for about a second, then switches off completely, and I have to restart the console to get my audio back. I've tried Display
Discovery both on and off, and changing around the audio settings also (the console is connected via HDMI)

I can't wrangle my head around it, it obviously isn't an issue with the cables seeing as though both my games AND my DVDs' work absolutely fine. So perhaps a very specific software bug? My console is completely up to date, was updated little over a week
ago.

If anyone has an answer, pleeeeeease let me know, it's a royal pain in the a**e having to switch over to my laptop to watch All 4 etc.. Many thannkkkkks!!

Ah I checked that last night, unfortunately it doesn't cover my weird problem.

Update: I have tried the Plex app and this works fine. So it seems to be limited to the three apps I mentioned above.
