Audio Issue in my Party

I joined a party, and whilst my friends can hear me fine, I can't hear anyone else. I can hear my game fine and i can't find any solutions online. I'm playing on Windows 10 with the Xbox Console Companion whereas my other friends aren't (they're all using
an actual Xbox console). Anything i can do?

Are you using the companion app on your phone or pc? Make sure you are on the most up to date version of the app.

Make sure your audio input and output are assigned to the audio device you want to use for party chat. In the Party widget, select the Party options … button and then choose Party audio. Under Audio output and Audio input, choose your audio device from the selection dropdown.

So they can hear you in-game chat but not party chat... odd. Please go in Settings > Account > Privacy and Online Safety > Xbox Live Privacy > View Details and Customize > Game Content > Check that your microphone is enabled and make sure "Sharing Audio Outside Of Xbox Live" is set to Allow.
