    Audio in party not working


    I got the new Xbox one s yesterday and went in a party with my friends earlier and I can hear them but they can't seem to hear me. I have checked that the mic is not on mute, I have also checked my privacy settings and it's nothing to do with that also when
    I plug my earphones in the controller the same things happen I know it's not my controller because I tried it on my boyfriends controller and they don't seem to work either please help!

    Xbox one mic not letting me speak to friends

    My brand new turtle beach headset that I got for Christmas is not working on my Xbox. The audio works for other devices but cannot speak to friends in a party

    I purchased the Chatpad in January 2018, and it was working fine for a bit. Same thing, all of a sudden the mic will not acknowledge me talking in Party Chat. If I plug headset directly into the xbox controllers 3mm jack, the mic seems to work fine. However,
    plug it into the Chatpad's 3mm jack, and absolutely nothing. It does not work at all in Audio -> Stereo mode. I only get audio from the rest of the party if I use Audio -- Microsoft Sonic.

    Game sound not playing through one controller, voice chat works

    Anyone have an ideas? Headset has audio for party voices, but all in game audio and menu clicks do not work whne the headset is plugged into red controller. Sound works normally with the headset when plugged into black. What would be wrong with the red headset? The hardware seems to clearly work as the party voice chat works.... Very weird that only in game audio does not work. Is there a way to unpair the headset or some other type of reset anyone has heard of?

    i’m sorry I miss read the part where you said “ is trying to play fortnite with his buds”

    The answer is that he does need headphones or some type of earbuds in order to talk that has a microphone or a connect otherwise there is no way for him to talk to his friends besides messaging through a TV.

    The reason why your sons friends are not able to hear your son is because the earbuds are not compatible with the audio port try a different pair of headphones/earbuds.

    he doesn't have ANY earphones. he can hear his friends through the television. they cannot hear him. does he need earphones? my older son uses an x box one on a different television and can communicate with his friends without earphones
