    Surround Sound Headset

I like the Turtle Beach Stealth 700. It uses Windows Sonic for surround sound, and is Dolby Atmos compatible.

The Stealth 800X is 7.1 surround, and can be found on sale for around $180

Most of the rest of the Xbox Surround Sound Headsets run above the $200 mark.

Dolby Atmos App - When will it be updated

I have a similar setup, but I'm using a Vizio Sound Bar and I cannot reproduce dolby atmos for Netflix.

Netflix Not Outputting Dolby Atmos On Xbox One

ok. Help mee out with something.

Netflix indeed still does not give "atmos" at my receiver. But i found something weird. If you change your xbox to DTSX or Dolby/DTS and start the netflix app, the icon for atmos is gone. Simply because netflix sees you dont have support for it.

Then, next step. Enable atmos and go to the netflix serie/movie you like. Listen one minute and change it to the version without atmos, do only 5.1. The audio is, according to my receiver, exactly the same. Dolby Surround with PCM codec. But the audio SUCKS HARD. If i play the same with 5.1 (Atmos) again i can instantly hear more quality/surrond/voice performance.

i read somewhere its only cosmetic... maybe that is true?

Xbox Series S Audio Passthrough is still broken and it doesn't work for Netflix.

    Geri,

I have the same issue on my Xbox Series X. Audio passthrough works perfectly fine with Disney+, Amazon Prime and Plex. When it comes to Netflix, it doesn't activate passthrough creating audio problems while playing Atmos content. The titles display Dolby Atmos, but there is no voice, only background music and sounds are played.

    No dolby atmos when streaming

I have the problem that Netflix Dolby Atmos is not working with the x box S, if I try to play a series with Dolby Atmos, then Netflix give the text:

This title can not play try later?

Configuration is ok at the x box s and all other content without Dolby Atmos will play correct.

    If someone have a solution?
