Audio help needed

Hi i use a microphone with wire that i plug into my xbox controller to talk to friends. I would really like the audio of the microphone to go through. my tv. So i can hear my friends on my tv. Does anyone know how to do this ??

Audio Setup help needed

I have felt your pain, we have fallen into the black hole of Dolby non-support. I have a Philips sound bar myself with the same issues. It plays game audio just fine, however when I pop in a DVD its no good at all. You get a really weird high pitched mechanical
whine noise... Unfortunately that is the sound of your sound bar not supporting HDMI Audio. In looking up your product I came across this review:

that extra cable Microsoft manufactures for this purpose. That way I can keep my HDMI video quality, and not sacrifice too much as far as sound in games. The downside? Having to default to my TVs standard speakers for movies. I am sorry to have to provide
disappointing news. Perhaps there is a more clever way to do this, that I myself have not come across. I hope it helps even if it is a little disheartening.

 

Audio connection help needed!

i think i need either hdmi to red and white audio or try the spdif thing.

i strongly suspect i will just end up upgrading my projector to hdmi though

 

There should be a setting in the xbox 360 settings where you can change the settings from headset/tv

Do you know wherr i can find it? Its not under setting consile audio

 

To Adjust your voice preferences

Press the Guide button on your controller.

Go to Settings.

Select Preferences.

Select Voice.

Under Voice Output, select Play Through Both.
