Audio Drops on Xbox Series X

I am having an issue with the audio randomly droppong on xbox series x. I've had this xbox since December, but the issue just started a few weeks ago, without any settings being changed. At first, the audio only went out on games - didn't matter which game as it happened with any and all games. Now, the audio is dropping in other apps (Hulu, Youtube, etc.), and also dropping in the middle of watching something. Again, this started randomly without a single setting being changed on my TV nor xbox. Now, to fix it I tried different settings with the audio, picture, you name it. I even did a factory reset on both the xbox and my tv, but neither worked. To fix, I have to unplugg the HDMI cord for 10 seconds and replug it in to get the audio, and that only works 75% of the time - otherwise I have to unplug the HDMI and restart the xbox. The issue is not with the HDMI cord as I've tried several different ones and all have the same problem. The issue isn't with the HDMI ports either as all other HDMI connections work fine. I've even unplugged all other HDMI devices from my TV except the xbox and the problem still persists. I've tried researching this, and others seems to have the same issue, but there seems to be no solution. Again, it's not a certain game or games and it's not the HDMI cord nor ports. I'm not sure if it's a setting considering its started out of nowhere without any settings being changed, and no combination of settings seems to fix it either (not even a factory reset). Is my xbox just trash now?

    :)

Xbox Series X - I can no longer turn off hdmi audio since installing the september update

I have almost the same problem except the error message says

“if you’re using Xbox series X/S, note that HDMI audio can’t be turned off. In other consoles, either optical or HDMI audio must be on. (0x80bd0009)

Why can’t I turn off hdmi audio on Xbox series x it makes no sense?

Will XBox Series X support external DAC/Amp hardware via USB?

There are multiple articles stating audio compatibility via USB. If optical is necessary, there are various HDMI to optical devices available which you may need to add.

    https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2020/09/02/designed-for-xbox-new-look-continuous-compatibility/

"Some gaming headsets that utilize an optical cable may require a firmware update to support game and chat audio over USB on Xbox Series X. Soundbars and headsets that do not receive updates may be connected
directly to your televisions optical port."
