  1. Audio Dropouts only on xbox360

For a few months I'm getting audio dropouts for less than a second randomly.

    It's getting pretty annoying...

It happens with Netflix and all games.

It happens on 2 different receivers(a pioneer av-receiver surround system and a Sonos Playbar-surround setup)

On the pioneer I could see that it lost signal cause when the audio popped back on the reicevers screen lit up showing "DD5.1" like it would do to show the user which signal it's getting.

I use the optical cable output on both systems so its not a hdmi issue.

I tried different optical cables, I tried the auto-display discovery disabled(as some www suggested), but to no avail.

As I have used 2 different brand/av systems it has to be the xbox360.

The weird thing is with a X41 turtle Beach headset I don't get any dropouts.

(But that could be cuz of the psuedo 5.1 sound headsets give..)

What can be causing this issue?

And any tips on how to resolve this annoying issue?

    :)
