    Audio delay/lip syncing problem


    My xbox 360 is connected to my new vizio tv and when videos play at certain points the audio doesn't match up with what is playing and continues to do so until I pause the movie it also happens in games sometimes and in order to reset the sound I can do
    one of two things one is turn off my system and then turn it back on or I can unplug the hdmi cord and plug it back in but this little mess up in audio gets very annoying and I would like to know how to fix it also sometimes the audio will not match up with
    video at the start up of the console has happened before and doesn't fix unless I done one of the two things mentioned earlier along with if I go to the console menu(where you can choose to play games or get on youtube or to change the settings , things like
    that) the audio can mess up so my question is how do I fix this it is very annoying and I don't want it to happen anymore if at all possible

    As I stated, in the service menu you can change the audio delay to sort out the lip sync problem.

    what tv?

    what samsung models should i look at? i just took a samsung ue32eh5000 as it had terrible audio lip syncing, it was speaking before their lips would and i could do nothing about it, took it back and got a second one and the second did the same thing.

    if your a samsung user could you state which models you have and if you have had problems like i did with the audio lip syncing?

    Blu-ray: Audio Delay?

    Check the consoles audio settings. I have a problem with my tv where if it recieves a 5.1 signal via HDMI it will cause lip sync issues. I had to manually turn off dolby 5.1 on my ps3 to fix lip sync issues with blurays. I had to do the same with my 360
    and satellite box.

    Audio is delayed when using DTS over optical.

    Considering I still cannot (realistically) use my 7.1 headset (Elite 800X -- ironically labelled as "DTS headphone", but only supports the Dolby Digital setting ... with massive -- 500ms or more -- delay) in any mode aside from Stereo only ... I'd say the
    patches that have come out in the year and a half since your latest post have not addressed the issue.

    Voice Command Xbox Pause/Play Was Working Fine....Stopped Working

    Also, the Audio/Lip Sync of my Blu-Ray was getting whacked out when using the XBOX PAUSE command. I'd have to pick up a controller and rewind a little and replay, then the lip sync would fix itself. Definitely not a perfect system.
