    Audio Delay in game recording Clips.


    (Approximately 3-4 weeks ago, everything worked fine.)

    As I look back at my game clips, the raw footage is just fine and playing smooth.... as long as I'm watching them on the xbox I recorded them on.

    If I use Upload Studio to do as little as add a border to the game clip, the audio falls full seconds behind.

    If I don't edit the video and just upload it to the cloud, I get the same issue.

    Same problem again if I send the message to a friend. (The friend can easily notice the audio lag).

    Even if I watch the videos on XBOX.Com through my profile captures, I still notice massive audio lag!

    Attempts so fix this:

    Reuploaded - At least twice on 30+ videos and 10+ time on a few (to test).

    Soft Factory reset.

    Double checked framerates and ping during video captures. (Very constant at 56-60 fps and 30-40ms on Rainbow Six Siege).

    Tried 3 different games. (Rainbow Six Siege, COD WWII, and Fortnite). I have footage (lots) of Rainbow Six, before and after this problem. Both "sides" are a part of the same update.

    Again. The raw, unedited video plays with no problems as long as it is being watched on the xbox it was recorded on. The moment I edit, trim, upload to ONEdrive, or watch in any other form, the audio corrupts (usually in the same places). Sometimes the
    sounds goes out completely halfway through a clip.

    I'm using an Original Xbox one and saving videos between 12sec and 5min at 720p. (Like always).

    Hi DARKOWNAGE97,

    Normally, there's no delay when recording clips on Windows 10. It's possible that a corrupted system file is affecting the issue. Have you checked if your computer is updated? Also, does the issue occur to video clips?

    In the meantime, I recommend that you turn off the Game bar and Game DVR by going to
    Settings > Gaming on your computer, then check if the audio and video are now synced.

    I did everything that you listed and unfortunately the audio is still delayed. When I record a clip the audio is delayed around 2 seconds back and I'm so annoyed with it. I don't understand I've even restarted and reset my entire console.

    Hi, I have recently had this same problem when recording clips on my Xbox One. The audio for two clips I recorded last night were about 2 to 3 seconds delayed from the video. I tried to not let it bother me, but after the problem hadn't seemed to go away
    today, I researched it a bit to see if there was anything I could do. What worked for me was deleting the two clips that had delayed audio in them, then I shut off my Xbox, turned it on again and fired up GTA online to record some clips and see if the audio
    was synced. I took a picture using the Snapmatic app on the in game phone and took a picture. When you take a picture it gives you a shutter sound when the camera takes the picture. This is a good way to see if your audio is synced. The audio on my clip was
    perfectly synced and the problem hasn't come back. I recorded 3 clips today, and the audio is perfectly synced. I'm not sure if deleting the badly synced clips solved the problem or if shutting of the Xbox and unplugging it did the trick, but maybe these tips
    can help some of you guys with this issue. I know it sucks having to delete some game clips, but it worked for me and maybe could work for you. Good luck!
