Audio cutting out

I've had this issue for some time, but it appears to have gotten worse lately. The sound will cut in and out at random times. I have done factory resets of the xbox one itself. I have swapped my sound bar for a traditional receiver. I have swapped hdmi
cables, i have put the one on the xbox one on the wii u and a hd cable box, no issues. I have tried audio thru hdmi, through optical, different inputs on television and receiver, different cables. It rarely does it on video apps, netflix, hulu, etc. It
always does it on games, all games. And it gets worse the longer i play. It seems like a cache problem or a overheating problem with hardware. I've tried different settings on xbox, and audio receivers, and television I have a samsung 1080p, not 4k , yamaha
receiver, polk audio sound bar, and have tried different brands of hdmi and optical cables. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Audio cutting out

I have an Xbox One X and a PS4 Pro running thru the same brand new Sony receiver then outputting to my 2018 Sony OLED. On the Xbox One X, I lose audio after the intro movie for The Crew 2 and Onrush. This fixed as soon as I go back to the Xbox menu and
have no issues on the PS4 Pro.

I am not part of the Xbox insider program or whatever it is called and other games work just fine.

Please advise. Any thoughts???

Audio Cutting Out

Have you tried another HDMI cable? They are known to wear out over time. If the new cable doesn't fix the problem you can return it for a full refund. If you have another HDMI port on your tv I would try that too.

 

check your tv's equalizer settings, they should all be set to 0, and your audio output should be set to pcm on your tv also
