    Audio cutting out


    I recently bought 3 HP screens to use with my computer and I want to use my Xbox 360 with them also.

    The screens do not have an HDMI port but display port, vga and dvi. I'm currently using an HDMI to vga converter to go into the screen which works fine. The audio goes from a line out converter from the adapter into my computers line in through an mp3 to
    mp3 cable. The audio works fine on the dashboard but when I launch a game it cuts out entirely.

    Audio cutting out

    I have an Xbox One X and a PS4 Pro running thru the same brand new Sony receiver then outputting to my 2018 Sony OLED. On the Xbox One X, I lose audio after the intro movie for The Crew 2 and Onrush. This fixed as soon as I go back to the Xbox menu and
    have no issues on the PS4 Pro.

    I am not part of the Xbox insider program or whatever it is called and other games work just fine.

    Please advise. Any thoughts???

    Audio Cutting Out

    Have you tried another HDMI cable? They are known to wear out over time. If the new cable doesn't fix the problem you can return it for a full refund. If you have another HDMI port on your tv I would try that too.

    Hey there, rosk4444!

    Is this issue occurring with all games that you launch on the console? Also, have you ensured that your audio settings are configured correctly on your console for the setup that you are using? The

    Configure Audio Settings on the Xbox 360     guide can help you get started with that process.

    Are you noticing the audio cutting out on all games, or just specific ones? Do you have the same problem if you try to play movies or CDs?

    Mine is through the TV speakers and it only cuts or for a split second. It seems to be ok for a while but the more games you play and the more the cache gets loaded up the worse it gets. So I'm wondering if it's to do with that. Have you cleared your cache?
