    Audio cuts out when I sign into Xbox Account on PC -


    Currently I'm experiencing an issue that I can't find a single other case of online. My issue is only present in games that require me to sign into my xbox account on pc, so for example certain game pass games, and in this case Halo Infinite. Everything works as intended when I first start up the game, all audio and things such as discord work normally. The problem occurs the second I sign into my xbox account, and stops as soon as I log out. Once I log into my xbox account all audio stops working, I no longer hear my discord, audio from websites, or audio from the game. The only thing that now works is the in game voice chat.

    Now I'm pretty proficient when it comes to all things PC, and I never have any issues of this kind with any other games and noticed it only happens when I'm required to sign into my account. So far I've tried re installing all things xbox, game bar, the app, etc etc... I've updated my windows store, made sure all my windows updates are up to date. I've updated the firmware on my headset, in short I've updated pretty much everything possible. Ive made sure all the correct audio outputs and inputs are selected, and exhausted the extent of my knowledge. I've tried every single suggestion online with anything remotely resembling any kind of audio issue.

    Ive been on the phone with their support and they dont know what to do either. Please, does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums! Wea re sorry to hear about your issue but do greatly appreciate you running through a troubleshooting process. You mentioned that you have set the audio inputs and outputs for your pc but can I ask if this one done in the pc settings or if it was done through the GameBar audio settings?

    I am also experiencing audio cut out/ stuttering. I have narrowed it down to the adapter that I am using (Windows 10 Adapter for controller). I have an Xbox Series X where I can play Warzone as a comparison. I do not get the same audio cuts outs playing on Xbox as I do on PC playing Warzone and when I disable Dolby Atmos on PC the cut out stops completely.

    From what I can tell this is a support issue of the adapter to deal with the increase data to the Xbox wireless headset..... just my findings.

    Do you have any audio issues with your logitech cam? When I have the usb cam plugged in to the Xbox and turned on the in-game audio cuts in and out. I run the astro mixamp for audio.

    Yes the freezing has stop but every now and then the game audio gets buggy certain parts will cut out like gunfire or npc talking but I believe this is a gearbox issue not an xbox issue anymore, so far thought when the audio cuts out I just save game nd
    reload it seem to fix it for a short while
