Audio cutout?

For the last few days, I've had aduio cutout in what I though was only YouTube.(I did report it to YouTube) However, starting today this has now been occurring in games as well. Typically, it starts with a stuttering, much like you'd get when a video is out of sync while buffering on YouTube, but it progresses to a full audio cutout. This seems to be temporarily fixed by hitting the guide button and pulling up the guide. It's quite odd. I've done everything I can to rule out a headset or physical connection problem from the console. Anyone else having this issue?
