Audio cut out when playing videos through apps.

I have an original Xbox 360 Elite plugged into a 32" LG TV by HDMI. It functions perfectly in almost every aspect, except when ever I try to play a video in certain apps. When the video loads there is no audio. This occurs in Xbox Video, Netflix and Amazon
Instant Video to my knowledge, but not in the YouTube app. If I exit the video the sound does not return, and will only return when I reset the console, change an audio setting, or unplug and replug the HDMI cable. I have tried several different cables, including
the one that came with the Xbox, and have tried plugging it into different slots on my TV, each to no avail. I am sure that this is some sort of software problem, as there is clearly nothing wrong with any of the hardware, it functions fine during the playing
of games, and navigating through the dashboard and apps, only when I try to watch a video does the audio cut out and force me to start pulling cables out the back of my TV. I have tried changing settings on my Xbox also, turning off automatic display discovery
etc, and this has not helped. Please help, I use my Xbox all the time for playing games and have recently started using it for watching videos too, investing in an Xbox remote, only to have my viewing experience disrupted by having to go through the ritual
of unplugging and replugging cables every time I start a new episode of something, or settle in to watch a movie.

Audio problem while streaming games to xbox app.

Whenever I stream Call of Duty through the xbox app the audio cuts out randomly. The sound through my headset is fine just the sound on the xbox windows app cuts out. Example
That is from my twitch livestream and you can see the audio working when I first shoot then it cuts out. Is there anyone else with this problem or a possible fix? I have tried changing the video encoding level all the way to low and it still happens.

Xbox one bluRay audio problems. Help needed.

I've been having issues with my audio when playing blu ray's on the xbox one. It doesn't matter what disc I use or what audio source. No audio will play through my headset directly from the controller, or hooked up to my 4k tv. This all started several months ago when it would freeze and the audio will go out of sync with the picture. Netflix, vudu, and games are not affected. My asus montiors also supports hdmi sound and they dont work when the blu ray movie plays.
I just spent an hour with Xbox support and nothing they suggest had any effect on the issue. My xbox, unfortunately, is out of warranty.

Things i've tried:
Uninstalling and reinstalling the blu ray app.
switching the audio settings.
installing the app on both my internal and external.
using fiber optic sound cable through my mix amp.

The behavior is the same.

Could this be an issue with the blu ray player, a combination between the App and the device, or the App just being the worst app ever created on this planet?

I've played around with a few options since posting this, and while the cutting out still happens on occasion, it is happening less frequently. I have a feeling that it's due to the interaction between my Xbox and TV. I have a Sharp TV and read about some
issues with the resolution. I changed the resolution settings on the Xbox to adjust automatically and it has helped. This is a tricky issue to troubleshoot since it doesn't happen consistently. I will continue to troubleshoot as it happens, and hopefully
I can stop it all together. If it's still happening when I get close to the end of my warranty, I will try replacing the Xbox.

Ypu have to open a call to exchange that xbox (if that still in waranty time).

Just first when you call the support for that try one last thing...

You do right changing the HDMI cable (in most of cases is the culpit of that type of problem), i sugest to look the second one your TV HDMI entry if you have another TV try to use your Xbox whif a new cable and see if the problem still remains if stills
maybe the problem is your 360 HDMI enter you can try to avoid that using the video component enter (test that if works well definily is your HDMI enter)

If you tested and works well in another TV the culpit maybe is your another TV, maybe have a short circuit in HDMI enter and that have a ocasioly a fail, 360 is most sensitive for that...

only on non-play parts like cut scenes and such, the audio and video both cut out randomly and separately making cut scenes choppy and very time consuming. It is so annoying i basically have to skip all cut scenes on games where that option is available.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with strange predicament. I can totally see how this could get old really fast. I suggest trying a soft reset of the console if it's happening every single time.
It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Follow the steps here on
How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One, select the option denoted reset and keep my games & apps and let us know how that helps with the issue.

When you get the chance, give that a shot and let us know how that helped.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
