Audio Chat problem Fortnite

We are playing fortnite cross platform with a playstation friend and are having trouble with the audio chat. We can hear the friend but he cannot hear us, and the audio icon on our end doesn't show us talking.

Hi thanks for bringing your issue to our attention

If for some reason you’re unable to talk or hear from anyone in your party, simply bring up the options menu by clicking the gear icon. From here, head to the audio section. Afterward, make sure that
you turn on the voice chat setting.

Youll both need to make sure your settings are configured first and make sure your both within your game lobby.

The audio issue you are having is based on fortnite platform. if you would like to hear your friend turn party chat off and on in settings and it that doesn't work restart your game and DO NOT GO IN TO XBOX Party

In fortnite the headset doesnt work to a ps4 running it. It works fine xbox to xbox but not with a friend running ps4. I have tried turning voice chat off, ptt off. Accepting then coming out and resetting but still nothing. What else can i try?
