  1. Audio channels of inverted hearing aids

I am inside the alpha Skip-Ahead ring and for a few months the audio channels of the stereo hearing aids connected to the 3.5 port of the xbox one s controller are heard inverted, i.e. the sounds that should be played on the left earphone are heard on the right as for example in a game when you are shot from the right that sound is heard on the left earbud.

Already try different controllers and hearing aids, also changing the audio settings of the console (Stereo, Windows sonic and Dolby Atmos) obtained the same result.

Does anyone have any idea what the motive is and how to fix it?

Note: The controller firmware is enabled to version 4.8.1923.0 and when searching for new update I have the latest version and no update available.

    hearing aids

    Hello johnmorrisoNZL,

Welcome to Xbox Community Forum. Thank you for sharing your concern with us today and we hope that all is well.

We know how important it is for you to connect hearing aids to play games for better quality of gaming. If the device has a way to output sound to your hearing aids then yes, this would be possible. However, this is not possible to Xbox Console if you were to connect your hearing aids via Bluetooth. Fortunately, there is a remote play that allows you to connect console to phone, tablet, or PC by then you may connect your Bluetooth hearing aids on the device you will use for gaming. To set up remote play, you may check the steps provided here: How to set up remote play | Xbox Support.

If you would love to connect a Bluetooth hearing aids to console, Microsoft listens to any feedback and suggestion you have in mind. Please do send a feedback through the channels available: Provide feedback to Team Xbox and Send feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback Hub app.

Thanks for your reply. I am so disappointed that microsoft do not support Bluetooth for those with hearing aids. They are making the situation difficult and unsatisfactory to say the least.

Hi AArbuckleJMA! My name is Ricardo an independent advisor ready to help you with this situation!

Currently the console doesn't support Bluetooth connection for this kind of devices

Some users use the remote play feature to connect the console to a PC or mobile phone, this way you can use the Bluetooth capabilities of that device

Others adquire a 3.5mm Bluetooth jack adapter, o won't recommend that, but is an option available

    OMG! Awareness Actually Works!

I did forget to mention that in the audio options menu, I have it on the loudest setting - supercrunch. That may have something to do with it, but then again, I'm hard of hearing & wear hearing aids as a result, so I think it evens out...
