Discus and support Audio CD player app is "Unavailable" in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I've just spent 90 minutes with xbox support taking me through cache clearing, deleting my account, taking all cables out, powering down etc....to tell...     Audio CD player app is "Unavailable"


    I've just spent 90 minutes with xbox support taking me through cache clearing, deleting my account, taking all cables out, powering down etc....to tell me he's just found out that there is a 'media update' specifically for this app but for some reason the
    app has been made 'unavailable' not updated as yet. Be patient he said....

    Audio CD player app is "Unavailable"

    It can and always has. There is just a problem as of now with the app. There has been no word of them ever removing the app. I'm sure in the future there will be a fix.

    Anyone now having trouble with internet explorer? Mine won't work and it is not available in the store.

    This device is sooooooo disappointing.

    Just tried to play my first cd on X1 and although the install button shows for the app, nothing happens when you click on it.

    Ok. The cd audio player is playing music, but is now not displaying artist, album, artwork or song title. Anyone else now having this problem?

    Yeah i have the same prob the Audio Cd Player App in unavailable for the Xbox 1. I was on and off tech support all day and they said it was a maintenance issue. They said to wait 24 to 48 hours until the system is worked on. It will be available soon.
    They are working on it. Right you should not need apps to play cd's or watch movies....... crazy. Some of the techs did not even know they had an Audio Cd Player App. ???

    Same here. Was working fine 2 days ago. Spent an hour and a half on the phone with support who had me try a factory reset which didn't work and after that the guy decided to try their console and said it wasn't working on thiers either. So I lost all my
    data for nothing and ended up with an "we'll document it and get back to you"

    Haven't heard from anyone since.
