Audio CD player app is "Unavailable"

Having the same issue since last night! Initially tried loads of different CDs ! This is rubbish, I wonder when they re going to fix it!!!

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps?

The Audio CD player is "unavailable" for download when I try to install it on our Xbox One. The Media Player is also "Unavailable". I have been able to download several other apps so the problem seems to be related to these two apps. Any assistance is
appreciated.

 

Same issue here. My son is also not happy that he can´t listen to his everday CD :-(

 

I am having the same issue. Tried every fix.

 

Same problem here, tried uninstalling and hard reset, app is unavailable to play or install

 

Same problem... a really basic function like this should work out of the box, you shouldn't need an app to play a CD!?!

What would be really useful at this point would be a moderator or Microsoft representative to tell us why their next gen machine cant play a CD.

thing like play music on it... when you advertise a product that is meant to do A, B and C and find it can only do A and B and C need apps installed .... A good all in one system would do it all without the hassle of having to install apps and it would also

I have the same issue. I really hope they will fix this because I use my Xbox One as CD player in my Hifi set.

 

Just chatted with a support person. They are aware of the issue and said to try accessing the app again in 24-48 hours. Did not bother asking what the problem was.

 

I hope Microsoft is gonna tell us what they've done soon

 

Man Microsoft come on I can't even play my audio cd's this is unacceptable. Can you guys at Microsoft please fix this problem soon or at least give some type of feedback. These little problems like this start to become real annoying when they happen so often.
I'm thinking about taking my X1 back and getting a ps4. This "all in one" stuff is starting to sound and work like a joke if you ask me smh

 

Just talked to 2 different people at Microsoft support and was told that the audio cd player wasn't even published by Microsoft and has been removed from the store by the publisher. I don't know what to believe but the the X-Box One is a joke.

 

I can't play a single CD disk...

Really?

We can't talk like the Xbox 360.

We can't stream music from other sources and use it like custom soundtracks.

Just chatted with MS. They provided steps like power cycling the console including unplugging the power cable. Delete and re-install app. Informed that it was a known issue that they are working at right now and try again within 24-48 hours.
