Audio Buzzing/Feedback When Using HDMI Switcher

My current set up for my Xbox One is set up with my Xbox One and PC connected to an HDMI Switcher. When the Xbox One is directly connected to the monitor, everything works fine. When it's connected to the switch (and subsequently turned on), I get this horrible
buzzing feedback in both my output audio as well as my input audio.

Does anyone get this issue and/or know how to solve it? I've tried this HDMI switcher as well as an HDMI KVM Switch (which I've returned thinking it was defective). It's not the cables, because all cables involved work fine without feedback when directly
    connected.

For what it's worth, it's a refurbished eBay console. I may see about asking my friend if I can try my set up with his console and see if the same issue arises.

    :)

No more HDMI ports on my TV

No, they don't make those. You can get a HDMI switcher or upgrade you sound system with an audio receiver, which will have multiple HDMI ports. Could buy a better TV as well.

Or just use the HDMI in on your Xbox One.

Thanks for the reply man. I think the switcher would be my best option. Are there any cons to using those? Like hindering the picture or anything?

Also with the Xbox one hdmi ports, I'm assuming the Xbox would have to be on?

    Hi Sevion,

Sorry you're having issues with your HDMI switch. As the Xbox works with no issues when plugged into the TV directly, the Xbox and that HDMI cable are both fine. The problem is with one of your HDMI cables or the switch itself. I would recommend trying different
cables to see if you get a better signal, or getting a new switch box all together.

I tried many different HDMI cables. As the switches all do not produce any feedback or buzzing when connected directly to the Xbox-Monitor, I do not believe it can possibly be the cables.

I have also tried two different switches. Both switches produced the same result. The switches are also different (brand and type of switch).

I'm thinking it has to do with the console itself.

HDMI Audio is turned off and Optical Audio is set to Stereo Uncompressed.

I turned off auto detect, but I still get the feedback.

A bit of a complicated problem

Best Buy does carry a '3 in 1 out' HDMI splitter (eForCity - 3 Port High Speed HDMI Switcher Splitter Switch for HDTV 1080p)

Normally the HDMI signal takes video and audio, not sure why you still must use the 3.5mm unless the HDMI to DVI drops the audio signal.

If this doesn't work, there are other splitter type devices out there that will let you connect computers/consoles up to a single monitor. Belkin has a few button type splitters that will work as well.

What kind of monitor are you using? Sounds like the manufacturer didn't want anyone gaming on it.
